Your website is fine until the morning it is not. Twelve questions tell you which morning you are heading for.
Most website problems are not discovered by monitoring. They are discovered by a customer, a missed enquiry, or a quiet month that nobody could explain. By then the damage is behind you rather than ahead of you.
This quiz asks twelve plain questions about how your site is actually run — not how it looks — and gives you a health profile at the end.
What it asks about
- Speed on a real phone, on mobile data — not on your office wifi on a desktop
- How you find out the site is down, and whether a visitor hitting a failed form or a broken checkout ever reaches you
- Your last full backup — and whether a restore has ever actually been tested
- Who renews the domain and SSL certificate, and what happens if that person is away
- Whether updates are applied on a schedule, and whether there is a test environment separate from the live site
- Whether you can tell which pages bring in enquiries or sales, and whether your forms reliably deliver
- How admin access is controlled, how long recovery would take, and whether any of it is written down
The question most people get wrong is the backup one — not because backups are missing, but because nobody has restored from them. A backup that has never been tested is a belief, not a safeguard.

Where this fits
This quiz looks closely at two layers of a wider picture. The Modern IT Stack Map is a free single-page reference covering all seven layers every organisation runs, with a maturity tick box for each — a useful next step once you have your profile.

Sites handling personal data, payment data or regulated records carry obligations this quiz does not evaluate — take qualified advice on your own circumstances.
